{{Starbucks WR}}

Our fam left Wednesday for a much needed mini vacay. We're having a "relaxing" time...which is just how the parentals like it. I, on the other hand, prefer an extremely active and lightly scheduled getaway, but its all good cuz the laughs have been constant and intense...

First big laugh of vacay...
Dad, AKA grumpy grump driver, wouldn't let us stop at Starbucks on our way out of town. Apparently, we didn't have time. So, we stopped at the local Moxie Java right outside Krist and Kelly's subdivision (btw, it was their grand opening...we strolled in at 6:30am...needless to say they were pretty pumped to see peeps). It gave me the caffeine I needed but didn't quite satisfy.

So, fortunately for all...Rachelle needed to stop a few hours later to feed Kenzie Poo. Dad, less grumpy grump driver, pulled off the freeway in LaGrand, OR. To find the most AMAZING of sights.

THE WORLDS LARGEST STARBUCKS sign...

Where's Kelly??? Can you spot her...

That's not the best part...they also have the WORLDS SMALLEST STARBUCKS sign...
Betcha can spot Kelly now!!

After we had a good laugh we went inside to get our drinks and shared with the nice Baristas that we were pretty excited to see the WORLDS LARGEST and WORLDS SMALLEST Starbucks signs. We were informed that they received many complaints from patrons who had difficulty locating the famous coffee house due to the unusually small sign next to the drive thru. So, the antidote...build a ridiculously large sign so it would be missed by no one.

Here's Kelly showing us how the crane lifted the glorious sign to its reigning record. Well, its actually not confirmed as the World's largest. But the employees did mention its thought to be the largest in the Northwest. Ha! Oh road trips...

ok, for all of you that read this post, that were not there in person, believe me when I say- if you had been there, you would really appreciate these hilarious pics! We could barely handle it we were laughing so hard. I don't know, maybe it had something to do with the fact that we woke up at 4:30am to hit the road and were just a bit delirious... but whatever the reason, it sure was a good laugh Trace and mom! :)
